BIO: I have been a practicing dentist in Gloucester, Ma. since 1972,having just retired in 2016.  I started painting in watercolor in 2000 with Myra Hall, and have painted with various local
artists on Cape Ann over the last 16 years.  Paul George, Judy the Evans Meagher, Marilyn Swift, Frank Federico, Lisa Sawlet (Monserrat Collage), Lisa Kennedy, Don Stone, Heidi Zander, Caleb Stone and Betty Lou Schlemm.  I am a member of the Cape Ann Watercolorists, an Associate member of Rockport Art Association, an artist member of Northshore Arts Association, a juried
member of Beverly Guild of Artists, " Art in the Barn " of Essex, Ma. , and SeArts of Rocky Neck.  Over the years I have won numerous awards at all of these associations.  I have also had several shows;  Addison Gilbert Hospital,  Atrium at the Musculoskeletal Center, Peabody; the Beverly Bank, the Bookstore, Gloucester;  the Sawyer Free Library; and the Wenniger Gallery, Rockport, Ma. I have also been fortunate to have painted with Phil Hobbs, of the U.K. In Sardinia and Tuscany; with Jann Pollard in Sicily; and Caleb Stone, on Monhegan Island.  Some of my work can be seen at Dental Associates of Gloucester, Ma., the Mayors office in Gloucester, the Pilates Center, and the Bass Rocks Golf Club, also in Gloucester.  My studio is in Rockport, Ma., at my home Rumrock Farm.
