BIO: My art is an ongoing exploration of my natural environment. The colors and patterns around me provide endless material. I am primarily a print maker and am inspired to work on fabrics for the tactile element they add to my prints.The drape and movement of the textile, along with the pleasure of wearing art, are central to my work.
At the Annisquam craft show I will be exhibiting my seaweed colograph printed scarves. Separates from my line of rayon clothing as well as my hand sewn, dyed and printed linen skirts. I will show a new wall panel printed on hemp and hand embroidered, and I will also have my usual silk screen printed field bags, tea towels and veggie bags.
