BIO: From a very early age, my journey in jewelry making began. I used to make jewelry out of anything and everything (sterling demitasse spoons, antique buttons, sterling napkin rings – sorry Mom…)  Some of my inspiration probably came from my Dad who used to collect roadside stones – they didn’t look like anything special -- but when he tumbled them and made them into jewelry, they became treasures. Finally when I was 14, my parents signed me up for silversmithing classes. I was trained by a silversmith-stay-at-home mom who was looking to make money while taking care of her daughter. Little did I know then, that years later I would use what she taught me to start my jewelry business after my first child was born! Over 20 years and many different roads later, I am still at it!

My charm collection started when I made a few wax seal charms from an antique wax seal stamp that I purchased several years ago – soon I collected more and more wax seal stamps, in addition to designing some of my own stamps, and the charms started a life of their own.

Wax seals have been used for centuries.  Early seals of monograms, family crests, and other identifying marks were used as personal authentications.  Seals were used to close envelopes, thus discouraging snooping and forgery.

Everyone has a story…
Choose charms to tell your story.  Create one-of-a-kind pendants with charm holders or charm bracelets available in sterling silver or bronze.  Sterling silver box chains are available as well.
Charms are 99.99% pure silver or bronze which is a mix of copper and tin.
Add a freshwater pearl, birthstone crystal, sea glass charm or beach stone charm.
Each wax seal comes with a story about it with information I researched and wrote for the individual charm.

My jewelry can be found online on Etsy as well as Local Colors in Gloucester.
